What you can do
Sign up for e-mail
By subscribing to our e-mail alerts and newsletters, you will stay informed about the latest news on UUSC issues you care about. You will also get the chance to make your voices heard when decision-makers most need to hear from people committed to human rights and social justice.
Be a media advocate
As a UUSC media advocate, you help to raise awareness of critical social-justice issues in the United States and around the world — and influence public opinion. Write op-eds and letters to editors and get them published in your local newspaper. Learn more.
Follow our campaign to Stop Torture
Ending torture requires putting in place laws and policies that firmly condemn future acts of "cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment." It also means confronting past transgressions and helping the survivors of such treatment heal. Join with us to prevent torture everywhere.
Connect with a UUSC program partner based in the United States
- UUSC members and supporters, and UU congregations interested in legal issues, due process of law, and justice for Muslim Americans can work with UUSC partner Muslim Advocates.
- Through the work of our program partner Hands Across Mideast Support Alliance (HAMSA) UUSC members and congregations can facilitate understanding and cooperation with UU, Muslim, and Muslim-American youth.
