Peering through the video camera lens . . . removed from the events, yet sharply aware of the gentle intensity of the folks we met. They tread the path of hope surrounded by corruption and violence. Nothing here seems to work . . . the legal system, the cold water faucets, nothing. Yet, they go on. An intensely emotional week for me. No hiding behind the camera.
