In Concern about New Military Action in Afghanistan

UUSC signed on to a letter to President Barack Obama voicing concern about proposed military action in Afghanistan. The letter also expresses concern that any perceived military success in Afghanistan might create pressure to increase military activity in Pakistan, further risking destabilization in the region and increasing hostility toward the United States. The letter was sponsored by Peace Action.
