In Support of an Amnesty International Demonstration Focusing on Darfur

Saturday, September 20, 2008UUSC signed on in cosponsorship of Amnesty International's demonstration at the UN for Peacekeepers and Justice in Darfur on September 25. The main theme of this UN General Assembly-focused action is security — Peacekeepers for Darfur Now and possibly some targeted messages regarding unfulfilled commitments to United Nations African Union Mission in Darfur (UNAMID). The second theme is accountability: Justice for Darfur (No to Impunity in Darfur; No to Article 16).
