To Urge the Appointment of an Officer to the U.S. Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties

Saturday, June 20, 2009UUSC signed on to a letter addressed to U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano expressing our serious concerns with the performance of the Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties. It also urged Secretary Napolitano to appoint without delay an officer to lead the office and restore its mandate.
