UUSC signed on to a letter addressed to the Acting Attorney General of the
Republic of El
Salvador expressing our profound concern about the kidnapping and
brutal assassination of Gustavo Marcelo Rivera Moreno, an activist and community
leader from the city of San
Isidro.
Purpose: The purpose of this action is to call on the Office of the Attorney General to carry out an impartial, exhaustive, and effective investigation in order to bring to justice the intellectual and material authors of this horrendous crime.
