What You Can Do

Donate in response to disaster

UUSC responds strategically to disaster situations where human rights are threatened, focusing on the rights of marginalized and oppressed people. We work with the understanding that disasters, be they wars or hurricanes, tend to hurt most those who are already marginalized in society.

Send targeted messages to policymakers through UUSC's action alerts. When the urgent need arises to put pressure on decision-makers in government and other institutions for action on human-rights issues, UUSC helps you get the message across efficiently while providing the background you need to be informed.

Volunteer

Whenever possible, UUSC endeavors to provide you with the chance to get involved and make a difference in human-rights work on the ground through various volunteer projects. Current volunteer opportunities exist in response to the situations in the Gulf Coast and Haiti.
