Darfurians look to activists to help stop the violence

 

 

 
Salih Mahmoud Osman, a human rights lawyer and opposition member of the Sudan National Parliament, and Dr. Barodi Mustafa Fashir, a medical doctor from Darfur now living in Canada, participated in the nationwide Rally to Stop Genocide in April 2006. They visited UUSC’s offices of their way to the rally in Washington, D.C., and here is a brief video of their meeting with our staff.
