Help provide relief to victims of humanitarian crisis in Sudan

UUSC is accepting donations to provide aid to victims of the humanitarian crisis in Darfur, Sudan. The "ethnic cleansing" in that region has already claimed more than 50,000 lives and left more than 2 million people homeless. We will forward donations to colleague organizations working on the ground in Darfur which are committed to helping hard-to-reach communities and the country's poorest.

At least 92 percent of funds will be used to implement relief programs.

Make your check payable to "Darfur Relief Fund". Mail your check to:

Yes, please.
 No, thanks.

Donations are tax-deductible. UUSC is a 501(c)3 organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Please note: To become a UUSC member, you must make an unrestricted gift. Supporting specific programs, such as appeals for relief efforts, is vitally important to our mission, but does not qualify for membership.

Many membership categories are available - including a $75 donation which automatically qualifies for a matching gift by the UU Congregation at Shelter Rock in Manhasset, N.Y. Each unrestricted gift allows the Service Committee to underwrite important domestic and international social justice programs. For more information about UUSC membership, please click here.
