The Save Darfur Coalition is sponsoring a 21,000 mile, 22-city, 11-state photo exhibit and speaking tour to raise public awareness and influence U.S. policymakers to take whatever steps are needed to end the genocide in Darfur, Sudan.

The "Tour for Darfur: Eyewitness to Genocide" will be led by Brian Steidle, a former Marine captain who served as the U.S. representative to the African Union's peacekeeping mission in Darfur from September 2004 to February 2005.

The coalition, which includes UUSC, organized the tour to bring public pressure on the Bush administration to end the genocide and build a lasting peace in the Darfur, and on Congress to provide the resources necessary to do so. The tour will conclude April 30 at a Rally for Darfur in Washington, D.C.
