Plan Your Guest at Your Table Program
Guest at Your Table 2011-2012
By coordinating a Guest at Your Table celebration for your congregation, you help participants of all ages nurture lasting connections to UU principles, build awareness about social justice and human rights, and strengthen UUSC's work. Thank you joining us in this special UU tradition.
Set your dates
The suggested date for opening Guest at Your Table is always the Sunday before Thanksgiving. This year, that date is November 20, 2011, but please schedule Guest at Your Table worship activities for the time that best suits your congregation.
Most congregations celebrate Guest at Your Table for four to six weeks, ending with a special worship service or other activity to gather boxes and envelopes.

Acquire planning materials
All planning materials will be available electronically. We have planning guidance for organizers, worship resources, and religious education materials. View and download materials
available now, including the 2011-2012 Stories of Hope booklet, and bookmark this page to return when all of the
materials have been published. You can save the files, then print only
the pages you need.
Printed planning materials are available by request. Contact us volunteerservices@uusc.org to place an order. We will be happy to send you printed copies of any materials as needed!
Order participation materials
We send a postcard reminder with key information to every UUSC local
representative, Guest at Your Table coordinator, and congregation. If
you did not receive a postcard reminder, please notify us at
volunteerservices@uusc.org so we can add you to our contact list.
Place your order now for participation materials, including gift boxes, gift envelopes, Stories of Hope booklets, membership stickers, and UUSC program fact sheets; you should plan one shipment in quantities sufficient to serve your congregation.
Reminder: Please order your essential Guest at Your Table supplies well in advance of your opening date. It typically takes up to four weeks to process your order and deliver your materials. Rush shipment of orders can be accommodated for an additional fee.
