Haiti Volunteer Program: Medical Trips

Port-au-Prince and Central Plateau, Haiti
April 11–16 and May 15–20, 2011

UUSC medical trips to Haiti focused on administering health care to Haitians in Port-au-Prince and the Central Plateau, in support of UUSC partners. In a variety of clinical settings, volunteers administeedr vaccinations, conducted overall health checkups, and advised on the nutritional needs of patients, among other tasks typical to health care in a developing country.
