Have a potluck open house on Christmas day, inviting your congregation's members and other friends. Instead of exchanging gifts, have a money tree where people can tie bills to decorate the branches. Include the gifts as a part of your Guest at Your Table contributions.

Host a coffee social to emphasize UUSC following your regular Sunday service. Use space in your congregation, or in someone's home.

Organize a breakfast, luncheon or even potluck dinner. Use the event as a vehicle to increase contributions and memberships. Ahead of time, encourage a few special people in the congregation to share what Guest at Your Table means to them, and why it is important to them to support UUSC.

Hold a stone soup supper or hunger banquet around Guest at Your Table.

Hold a special video viewing night. UUSC has a video lending library full of videos about human rights, the issues on which we work, and our partner organizations. Simply contact volunteerservices@uusc.org for more information. Make the viewing night fun for all. Say a few words about UUSC and Guest at Your Table, and plan a discussion time following the video. And of course providing food and drink is always a plus. Maybe even make it a pot luck dessert night!
