Justice Sunday 2011
Justice Sunday 2010-2011: Justice is Aid with Dignity
Justice Sunday 2011 was celebrated on April 10, 2011. Visit uusc.org/justicesunday to learn more about our next annual Justice Sunday program. If you have questions, contact us at volunteerservices@uusc.org.
In the face of humanitarian crises, UUSC supports the rights of people overlooked by mainstream relief.
Justice Sunday 2011 — with the theme "Justice is Aid with Dignity" — focused on how
UUSC upholds the inherent worth and dignity of every person through our Rights
in Humanitarian Crises Program, which includes grassroots partnerships in Darfur, Gaza, Haiti, Kenya, Pakistan,
and Uganda.
Justice Sunday highlights our ongoing human-rights work and provides learning, advocacy, and action resources to help organize members of your congregation to reflect, understand, and take action on pertinent humanitarian issues.
Along with this suite of social-action resources, a sample sermon and worship service are provided to help you culminate your engagement with a commemorative worship observance.
