Act now to protect the election

Election Day 2006 is approaching fast and we would like to think the outcomes will unambiguously represent the will of the voters. We hope there will be no problems or questionable procedures at polling places on Tuesday, November 7.

But what if eligible voters are turned away from polling places through no fault of their own? What if certain voters are subjected to intimidation? UUSC urges our members and supporters to join a network of activists prepared to respond on Election Day to situations that threaten the rights of all U.S. citizens to participate fully in our democracy.

Take Action Now!

UUSC’s colleague organization Working Assets is organizing a Voter Protection Immediate Response Network. If you are available on Election Day to help defend our democracy, please take a minute now to sign up for this network of activists. You may not be needed on November 7, but just in case we hope you are willing to take action.
