Charles Sandmel

Charles Sandmel, of Brookline, Mass., is an independent investment advisor specializing in socially responsible investing, following a career in public finance. Previously, he was a portfolio manager at two insurance companies, a Wall Street securities analyst, and a government economist.

Sandmel is a graduate of New York University, where he earned degrees in history and public administration. He has been active in peace, human-rights, and environmental activism since the 1960s.
