UUSC signed on to letter to House Appropriations Chairman David Obey to urge full funding of the President's FY2011 International Affairs Budget request of $2.182 billion for the Contributions for International Peacekeeping Activities (CIPA) and to support a FY2010 emergency supplemental request for the UN peacekeeping mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH). Among other crucial operations, this funding would support international peacekeeping such as UNAMID for the next fiscal year and an Emergency Supplemental request for Haiti's immediate needs.
