Association of Indigenous Peoples of the Americas of Sipakapa

The Association of Indigenous Peoples of the Americas of Sipakapa support water quality and quantity monitoring capacity building in Sipakapa to monitor the impacts of GoldCorp gold mining operations on the community and the Sipakapense indigenous peoples. Their work enables the community to participate in and know about the water quality and quantity changes due to the mines' operation, and gives them a voice to campaign against harmful mining practices by GoldCorp.
