There were and are so many helpers when we watch the news
and hear accounts from Monday's tragic events. But I was struck
with the question: "Who gets the help?"

 In El Cajon, Calif., Iraqi-born
Shaima Alawadi was beaten to death in what appears to be a clear hate crime. The
perpetrator left a note reportedly reading: "Go back to your own country.
You're a terrorist."
