UUSC’s 80th Anniversary Gala

Watch our virtual celebration with partners and supporters of UUSC's 80 years of human rights work.

In celebration of our proud history and today’s bold partnerships, UUSC hosted a Virtual 80th Anniversary Gala on Wednesday, October 21, 2020.

It was in 1940 when our founders, Martha and Waitstill Sharp, helped thousands of refugees escape war-torn Europe. Now, UUSC continues their brave legacy, centering the rights of people most affected by injustice by joining hands with grassroots groups and local leaders in the U.S. and around the world.

Thank you – members, partners, friends – for bringing such great energy and enthusiasm in celebration of UUSC’s Brave Legacy, Bold Future! Because of you, our 80th Anniversary Celebration was filled with joy and inspiration, a reprieve amid some of the most challenging times our world has faced.

We invite you to share the recording of our gala, as well as the artwork produced for the event, with your circles. The full Gala, along with the individual videos, are available below via our YouTube channel.

Thank you for being a part of a successful eighty years of human rights and social justice work, and here’s to another eighty more! Thank you to All of Us Films for their excellent work and collaboration in producing this film with us.
