It’s amazing how a simple conversation can ignite the flames of change. That’s the heart of our mission at UUSC—to spark transformation and champion human rights by amplifying the voices that uphold the dignity inherent in us all. 

This November, we’re calling on you—the very individuals we advocate alongside—to help us refine our communications. Through your insights, we strive to fortify the bridge that connects us, making our collective voice for social justice even stronger.

A Conversation for Change

When you read our emails, engage with our social media, or visit our website, you’re part of a larger narrative—one that seeks to disrupt cycles of injustice and uplift justice globally.

We invite you to join Deanna Johnson, our Impact Storyteller, for an engaging 45-minute discussion on what kinds of conversations we need to be having online that lead to real action. Think of it as a virtual roundtable: We’re pulling up a chair for you to sit with us and engage in a constructive dialogue. Here’s what you can expect: 

• Confidential Collaboration: We pledge to protect your privacy. In our focus groups, your identity remains anonymous, and all discussions are confidential, ensuring a safe space for open and honest dialogue.
• Focused Sessions: Spending 45 minutes of your time with us via Zoom will not only contribute to our shared mission, but also honor the narratives of those we serve. Each session is a stepping stone towards more impactful advocacy.
• Inclusive Participation: The diversity of our community is the cornerstone of our strength. We actively seek a breadth of perspectives, knowing that varied experiences enrich our understanding and actions.
• Acknowledging Your Time: As advocates for justice, we recognize the value of your time and dedication. Each participant will be recognized with a special thank you gift as a gesture of our heartfelt appreciation.
