Advance UUSC’s Work! Ways to Get Involved
Stewardship Circle
The Stewardship Circle is a group of UUSC’s most committed supporters who provide their input, time, energy, and financial resources ($5,000 or more annually) to advance UUSC’s human rights mission. In addition to periodic in-person gatherings, we host virtual events and offer trips where Stewardship Circle members can visit with our partners. For example, past journeys have been to Cuba, Burma, and Eastern Europe. To learn more about the Stewardship Circle, please contact Kate Friedman at 617-301-4344 or kfriedman @ uusc.org.
Keeper of the Flame
Arranging a monthly gift to UUSC provides sustainable support for our human rights programs and helps ensure UUSC can respond quickly to partner needs as they emerge. To learn more and arrange a monthly gift, please visit this donation page.
Flaming Chalice Circle
The Flaming Chalice Circle legacy society recognizes those who include UUSC in their estate plans. Through their generosity, society members join our collective commitment to future generations, ensuring they will benefit from our efforts to advance global human rights. Information about legacy giving can be found here. To learn more or to notify UUSC of a legacy gift intention, please contact Carly Cronon at 617-301-4329 or ccronon @ uusc.org.
Congregational Liaison
UUSC congregational liaisons serve as a vital link between their congregation and UUSC’s human rights work. Volunteering their time and talents, these individuals encourage membership at their congregation, lead programs such as Guest at Your Table, and connect their congregation with UUSC advocacy and activism opportunities. To learn more, please contact Laura Randall at lrandall @ uusc.org.
Community Accompaniment Program With Asylum-Seekers
UUSC’s Community Accompaniment Program With Asylum-Seekers (CAPAS) supports communities of faith as they host and accompany individuals and families seeking safety through the process of obtaining legal asylum in the United States. To learn more about CAPAS, please visit this link.
