Send a Letter: Tell Congress to Protect TPS Holders

Legislation in the House and Senate would provide TPS and DED holders with the protections they need to continue building their lives and enriching our communities.

Since August 2017, President Trump has repeatedly cancelled and refused to renew protections for foreign nationals living in the United States with Temporary Protected Status or Deferred Enforced Departure. These programs allow people who are unable to safely return home due to violence, war, and natural disasters to live and work in the United States. Eliminating their protections has left hundreds of thousands of individuals, many of whom have lived in the United States for decades, vulnerable to losing their livelihoods, being separated from their families, and being deported to countries that are unsafe.

Start by entering your information in below so that we can match you with the correct district. When you hit “submit” you’ll be taken to the draft letter, which you can personalize before sending. Note that if one or more of your Members of Congess has already signed on as a cosponsor, you will also have the opportunity to send a thank you message.
