Lift the Ban on Love: Tell Congress to Make the “Muslim Ban” History

Our legislators must pass the NO BAN Act into law and prevent further family separation.

Uncountable families are facing long-term separation from their loved ones due to Trump’s travel restrictions, including the most recent expanded version of his Muslim Ban targeting African and Asian immigrants. These policies are cruel, unjust, and— as the President’s own words have betrayed time and again—frankly motivated by racism. As long as they remain in effect, people will be denied the ability to reunite with their family members, including spouses and children, just because of where they come from and what religion they practice.

This is wrong. Islamophobia and anti-Blackness should have no place in our immigration policy. Congress must act now to pass the NO BAN Act (H.R. 2214/S.1123). This historic legislation would reverse Trump’s Muslim and travel bans and ensure no president can impose similar discriminatory policies in the future. It is past time to incorporate these crucial human rights safeguards into U.S. law. Call on members of Congress today to help make history for the better.
