LOCATION: Warsaw, Poland

The first organization in Poland to focus on addressing activist burnout, RegenerAction organizes workshops, counseling, support groups, group training, and crisis intervention for campaigners, groups, and organizations. It also researches the issue of burnout and regeneration trajectories in human rights activism in Poland, provides anti-burnout facilitator’s training, and engages activist communities in conversations around self-care and collective care in progressive community movements.

Specifically, RegenerAction:

  • Organizes care infrastructure for campaigners, groups, organizations and progressive public and/or community movements: workshops, counseling, support groups, group training, and crisis intervention;
  • Researches the issue of burnout and regeneration trajectories in human rights activism in Poland; and
  • Publishes reports and engages activist communities in conversation around self-care and collective care in movements.

RegenerAction’s work helps replenish the energy of Polish human rights activists to continue doing the vital work of advocacy and activism. The care they provide these activists goes a long way in maintaining an active and vibrant human rights movement in Eastern Europe.
