Senior Executive Assistant & Special Events Project Manager
Brittney Rose is UUSC’s Senior Executive Assistant & Special Events Project Manager. Brittney has been at UUSC for four years and is part of UUSC’s executive team. Brittney supports UUSC’s Board of Trustees, UUSC’s President & Lead Executive Officer Mary Katherine Morn and Vice President, Programs Rachel Freed. She manages and plans events for the board, staff, and the organization. She also manages the planning of three board meetings per year coordinating with staff, vendors, and external partners/supporters of UUSC. She plans staff events such as all staff retreats and social gatherings throughout the year to build on relationships across departments, make connections, and boost staff morale.
Brittney spearheads the planning for UUSC at the Unitarian Universalist Association’s annual General Assembly (GA) conference. Brittney collaborates with staff to plan UUSC’s annual Human Rights Leadership Award Celebration at GA as well as UUSC’s booth at the GA Exhibit Hall. Additionally, she supports the logistics for UUSC at GA and assists staff in hosting workshops.
Previous to UUSC, Brittney was employed for four and a half years at the Earthwatch Institute as a Program Officer and later their Executive Assistant & Development Support.
Brittney completed her undergraduate degree with a major in International Relations at Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts. She studied abroad at Royal Holloway University of London and completed a dual graduate degree program at Suffolk University in International Relations and Public Administration.
