Challenging Injustice, Advancing Human Rights

Jennifer O’Rourke

Marketing and Membership Coordinator

Jennifer O’Rourke is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of direct marketing, congregational giving, and e-commerce at UUSC run smoothly. Jennifer serves as a liaison between program staff and Development, ensuring that the materials UUSC donors receive are up to date on the work of our partners.

Prior to joining UUSC, Jennifer served as a Development Associate at St. Francis House, a homeless day shelter in downtown Boston. This role allowed her to marry her passion for social justice issues to her fundraising skillset. She also currently serves on the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network Leadership Board.

Jennifer earned her BA in History from Clark University and her MA in Human Rights from University College London, where she was able to work closely with refugees and asylum seekers during her time spent interning at Freedom from Torture, a torture rehabilitation center based in North London, and supporting the British Red Cross’ Young Refugees and Befriending Project.
