Kate Friedman

Director of Individual Giving

As UUSC’s Director of Individual Giving, Kate Friedman develops comprehensive short-, medium-, and long-term strategies for UUSC’s major gifts program and special gift campaigns. She builds and sustains major donor relationships to ensure the fulfillment of major gifts and special campaign goals.

Prior to serving in her current position, Kate worked as UUSC’s Senior Associate for Major Gifts and the special initiatives campaign. Before joining UUSC, she worked in both educational and advocacy fundraising. She served as Director of Annual Giving at the Cambridge School of Weston and a Development Associate at the Center for Reproductive Rights in New York City.

Kate holds an undergraduate degree in Magazine Journalism as well as Women and Gender Studies from Syracuse University. She is very excited to combine her passion for philanthropy and human rights to advance the important work of UUSC.
