We must immediately raise $100,000 to meet the medical and educational needs of rural communities in Sierra Leone and Liberia — the two countries most devastated by the Ebola crisis.

As health care workers struggle to contain the deadly virus in urban centers, rural communities are being excluded from lifesaving treatments and urgently needed public education to prevent further infections.

In Liberia and Sierra Leone, your gift will help our partners train, support, and equip frontline health workers who will provide comprehensive care in new and struggling health centers. In both countries, your support will provide training to community engagement workers to help stop the frightening spread of Ebola by educating communities on better burial practices and ways to lessen the risk of infection. These efforts will benefit more than one million people who have nowhere else to turn.
