UUSC Responds to Escalating Crisis in Haiti

Challenging Injustice, Advancing Human Rights

The Unitarian Universalist Service Committee advances human rights through grassroots collaborations.

From the Ground Up: Webinar Update from Haiti

Since the devastating earthquake in January 2010, UUSC has partnered with grassroots organizations that work hand in hand with civil society to ensure a just recovery for all Haitians. Through on-the-ground partnerships, advocacy coalitions, and the power of our members — who have taken action, invested money, and volunteered their time — UUSC is committed to lifting up the voices of overlooked earthquake survivors and accompanying them on their journey toward a just recovery and reconstruction.

During this hour-long interactive webinar, you will learn about UUSC's partners, hear from people taking part in a JustWorks service-learning trip, and find out from UUSC staff what you can do to support the recovery effort at home in the United States.
