The Unitarian Universalist Service Committee advances human rights through grassroots collaborations.

Founded in 2009, Nomada provides free consulting services and legal protection for migrants and refugees in Poland. In addition to providing legal counseling in two detention camps located in western Poland, Nomada is a part of the Border Group, which provides humanitarian and legal aid to people stranded at the Polish-Belarusian border.
Nomada’s life-saving work protects and supports people exercising their right to migrate. UUSC’s relationship with Nomada helps the organization to provide essential services for those in migration and affirms their dignity in the face of displacement and uncertainty.
