Ivanna D’Alencon

Campaign Strategist and Coordinator

Ivanna D’Alencon joined UUSC in May 2023 as the Campaign Strategist and Coordinator on the Advocacy team. Her responsibilities include supporting the collaborative design of UUSC’s advocacy campaigns and the development of UUSC’s campaign infrastructure to mobilize supporters and influence decision makers effectively and strategically.

Before joining UUSC, Ivanna was a national campaigner working on bringing justice and racial equity to climate advocacy spaces. She began her career as a canvasser during the 2016 presidential elections and continued growing in leadership positions on progressive local and state campaigns. Her passion for community engagement led her to working on immigrant rights, reproductive justice, and climate equity campaigns in south Florida as an organizer and volunteer. She is deeply committed to seeing her community thrive and is most proud of the years she spent on the ground having genuine conversations and learning about the solutions folks want to see implemented in their communities.

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Ivanna earned an undergraduate degree in History and a minor in Italian Language and Culture from Florida International University. She loves reading a good book at the beach, taking her dog to the local park, and snuggling with her cats on rainy days.
