Nafisa Abdinoor

Researcher

Nafisa Abdinoor joined UUSC in March 2023 as a researcher in the Research, Impact, and Learning unit. Her work will support UUSC’s Participatory Action Research (PAR) program.

Nafisa has worked in conflict settings for more than six years, gaining direct experience in policy dialogue, technical analysis, project management, and implementation. She has a strong track record of successful project implementation and a deep understanding of the health industry with a focus on strengthening health systems, emergency public health contexts, social determinants of health, and nutrition. Nafisa is passionate about social justice and addressing inequities through evidence-based solutions that empower grassroots individuals and create a more equitable world.

With an MBA in Social Impact and an MS in Global Health from Heller School at Brandeis University, she has more than six years of experience designing, conducting, and publishing research. She also holds a degree in clinical medicine and community health.
