Burma Human Rights Network

Utilizing research to advance human rights for Burmese people in Southeast Asia.
Burma Human Rights Network

LOCATION: London, England

The Burma Human Rights Network (BHRN) advocates for the rights of everyone in Burma: human rights, minority rights, and religious freedom. Founded in 2015 and operating from London, they are committed to seeing a functioning, thriving democracy in Burma, which is only possible if all have equal rights. Their work has earned them quality relationships with decision makers from the United Kingdom, European Union, and the United States.

BHRN will use the funding they receive from UUSC to publish and distribute ground-breaking research findings that detail human rights violations and support the storytelling of survivors. They will also meet with senior government officials to discuss the research and address the abuse.

UUSC is proud to partner with BHRN in their work to see a democratic Burma where all are treated equally.
