Justice Education
We’re an organization committed to continual growth and learning alongside our partners, members, congregations, and community groups.
Justice Education and global solidarity work take many forms — from our multigenerational seminar to dialoguing with partners during regular webinars, events, and convenings.

Equipping communities for change
UUSC staff visit congregations to provide political education and training. We create digital communications and research materials for public education and outreach. We work in coalition with other organizations to schedule speakers for events and provide resources for community action.
A few of our key core initiatives include:

Community Accompaniment Program with Asylum-Seekers
UUSC’s CAPAS initiative helps faith communities support asylum-seekers through hosting, advocacy, and solidarity, ensuring they are met with dignity and care.

Human Rights Day Commemoration
Each year, we mark Human Rights Day with teach-ins and discussions on urgent issues, fostering collective advocacy and community action.

Intergenerational Global Solidarity Seminar
Our annual seminar fosters faith-driven advocacy, activism, and global dialogue, deepening understanding of human rights, the UN’s role in justice, and cross-generational solidarity.

Pink Haven Network Training Support
Pink Haven is a community-led initiative providing transgender, Two-Spirit, and gender-expansive people with critical relocation services, access to care, and survival resources.
