A Moment of Reckoning and Resolve
True gender justice is not a resolution negotiated in a conference room, nor is it a slogan to be adopted when politically convenient. It is a collective power built over generations through creative organizing, resistance, imagination, and care. Communities all across the globe are leading struggles for self-determination, striving for a future in which they can live with dignity and transform the systems that shape daily life.
This March, as leaders and activists gather for the 70th yearly UN Commission on the Status of Women, the call to action is clear: ensuring and strengthening access to justice for all women and girls, including through inclusive and equitable legal systems and the elimination of discriminatory laws and structural barriers.
In this political climate, where those most impacted are targeted by coordinated backlash across regions, we are centering global feminism to deepen our resolve and lean on our faith in solidarity. We are showing up at CSW70 to challenge the narrative of fear and to amplify the truth our partners live every day: justice and dignity for all must be collectively built.
