Dalan Fund supports the Central and Eastern Europe, Caucasus, and Central and North Asia (CEECCNA) region in preparing for and responding to crises. Dalan Fund aims to fill critical gaps in resourcing the region with holistic, long-lasting, and consistent movement-led strategies and participatory grantmaking mechanisms. The work of the fund aims to expand the definition of crisis while breaking down silos and promoting multifaceted approaches to crisis response.
UUSC began its work with the Dalan Fund in 2023, contributing to the fund’s initial seeding. Today, UUSC continues its commitment to working with Dalan Fund through a long-term grant aimed at strengthening the fund. In addition, Dalan Fund continues to provide resource distribution, crisis preparedness and prevention, and research support.
