Young Heroes Lead Despite Climate Change

Water is life. It nourishes us, connects ecosystems across the planet, and sustains our communities for generations. But today, this essential resource is at risk globally—threatened by pollution from irresponsible human activity and the accelerating disruptions of climate change.

As we mark World Water Day, welt up the voices of young activists stepping forward to protect our planet. Around the world, children and youth are rising to the challenge and are taking action for climate justice, showing that age is no barrier to making a difference.

How Young People Are Leading the Way

Our partner the Loss and Damage Youth Coalition (LDYC), a network of young climate advocates from around the world, is working to ensure that youth voices are not only heard, but centered in climate decision-making. They push for policies that protect vulnerable communities and urge governments to fund support for those already experiencing the devastating effects of the climate crisis.
